Mike and Bridget are married - Part Two! {Hamilton Wedding Photographer, Liuna station wedding photos}

Welcome back!  When we left you in Part One, Bridget and Mike had just finished their ceremony and we were well into the photo session with the wedding party.  The leaves in Hamiton's Bayfront Park were beautiful, the light was lovely, and the powers that be kept the rain away!  Plus, the bride and groom were also pretty gorgeous......

It was cold, and very windy, and you cannot tell.  Bridget and Mike were amazing!

Bridget's dad has spent years rebuilding and refinishing this antique army jeep - it was a great addition to their images! (and fun to ride in!)

Finally, we wrapped up over at the beautiful Liuna Station.  While we were busy
with photos, guests were headed in to the reception area and enjoying the
gorgeous space and special details that Bridget and Mike had planned.
Chocolate bars as seating cards?  Awesome!  And, also, delicious.

The newlyweds made their entrance to huge applause,
and immediately went into their first dance.

There were many great toasts and speeches throughout the night, both funny and touching.

Instead of clinking glasses, Bridget and Mike asked that guests either make a donation to charity or choose a dare to do if they wanted to see the newlyweds kiss..  (They had to draw from a jar with all the options written down on pieces of paper, so there was no way to know what you were getting ahead of time.)

People did shots.................and Mike and Bridget kissed.

People sang a song by their favourite Canadian artist......

Or delivered a kiss to a guest sitting at another table......

........and Mike and Bridget kissed.

After the parent dances and cutting the cake, the dance floor opened up.  Anyone who follows this blog knows how I feel about a busy dance floor.  (Spoiler - I LOVE it!!!)

Mike's family has a longstanding tradition of dancing to Rasputin by Boney M.  Like, everyone on the dance floor, high kicks, full out dance off kind of tradition.  It was awesome.

A fabulous night with fantastically fun people.  To finish things off: ring shot, sparkly style:

Bridget and Mike - thank you again for trusting me to be a small part of your beautiful day.  My team and I had so much fun with your family and friends - we wish you a
lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together!
