Heather and Will got married!

Well, Heather and Will got married late last year. It was a beautiful day, full of laughter and love and lots of little unique touches that really reflected their personalities - I was honoured to be able to attend. Congratulations to you both!

Their beautiful church.

N, the groom's niece, was the flower girl. She is adorable and quite the character!

The couple's first dance.

Heather's gorgeous dress, the day after.

Touring in Wine County

While the Niagara region is seen as the main wine producer in Ontario, Prince Edward County is quickly establishing itself as a new region. We took a tour late last year, and had a fantastic time!

Trent University

In preparation for a photo project, I've been wandering on campus at Trent University and taking shots.

A Walk in Selwyn Park

One of the things I love about living in the Peterborough area is the amazing scenery. These were taken on a walk through Selwyn Park, near Bridgenorth. I'm more then ready for spring to get here, but winter has it's prettier moments.

Trying out my new lens

We decided to try a fixed focal length lens a few weeks ago. To say I was a little unsure would be an understatement....I am a die hard zoom lens kind of girl. Having said that, I really, really love what it can do with available light. In the absence of human models, my cats kindly stepped in for these shots.
