Mike and Bridget are married - Part One! {Hamilton Wedding Photographer bayfront park wedding photos}

(Want to see the rest of the day?  Check out Part Two here!)

I had an absolutely wonderful day with Bridget, Mike and their family and friends.  Their wedding day was filled with a great deal of love, laughter and a whole lot of fun people.  The day started out at Staybridge Suites in Hamilton with Bridget and her girls getting ready.

The suite was a flurry of activity, with everyone busy doing hair, makeup, and generally having a great time.

Bridget was an amazingly detailed oriented bride - she thought of so many fun touches throughout the day, starting with these personalized gifts for her wedding party.

This necklace, in addition to being her something blue, is a gorgeous family heirloom that once belonged to her great great grandmother.

If you some odd blurring on a few images, there is nothing wrong!  Details with
last names have simply been erased for privacy.

Meanwhile, in a suite just one floor up, Mike and the guys were also busy preparing.

Bridget sent up a special gift for Mike to open pre ceremony.

The guys and I headed over to Sam's Queenston Bakery for a little field trip.  A favourite of Mike's, they had ordered cannolis for everyone to enjoy on the big day.  Sam was prepared and surprised Mike with a giant cannoli.

Not content to stop there, he then brought out champagne for everyone.
Pretty much the best baker ever.

Back in the girls suite, prep was still underway, supported by a delivery of
cannolis to fortify everyone's stength.

After getting into her beautiful dress with the help of her mom and girls,
Bridget had a moment with her dad.

And then it was off to St. Patrick's Parish for the ceremony!  (In a limo bus, no less....)

Bridget shared a laugh with her dad before starting down the aisle.  I love the emotion on both Mike and Bridget's faces as they see each other.

Guests had a great time mingling as we took family portraits outside the church
immediately following the ceremony.  (Thanks to Heather Buttrum of
on three photography who second shot with me!)

After wrapping up family portraits, the wedding party headed back on to the
limo bus to do portraits at Bayfront Park.  As you can see, they had very little fun
and made absolutely no use of the special features available.  Like this pole.
Which was clearly intended for hanging coats.  Yes.

Photo bomb.
