A shoot with the V family! {Strathroy Family Photography}

I spent a rainy afternoon with the V family - these kids did so well in spite of the weather!  Miss C, Miss E and Mr. M are all so sweet and we had a lot of fun!

We started off with Miss C.....

...and then added Miss E.....

And then, finally, we took a few of Mr. M, who is very new, and very wee!  :)

The girls are fascinated by their baby brother, who I suspect will be the subject of much dressing up and hairstyling over the next year or two!

Thank you for allowing me to spend a bit of time with your beautiful family!

An afternoon with the D family! {Strathroy Family Photographer}

I met up with the fabulous D family at the Strathroy Conservation Area - what a fun group!  3 beautiful girls and lots of laughter!

I've said it before, but I think it's so important for parents to get in front of the camera by themselves during a shoot if they are up for it - these two hadn't had a professional image done since their wedding!  Life gets busy with jobs, kids, etc. - it's so easy to get stuck behind the camera and forget to document your life as a couple.

Thank you so much for spending a bit of time with me - I had a wonderful time getting to know you all!

Bridget & Mike are getting married! {Kingston engagement photography}

Bridget and Mike met up with me in Kingston on a ridiculously hot beautifully sunny day.  They were in a great mood in spite of the temperatures and we had a lot of fun.  We started off in a fantastic alleyway in downtown Kingston and then made our way to the lovely RMC campus.

Doesn't Bridget have the most amazing eyes?  Even in black and white, when she is looking into the camera you can't help but have your attention drawn to them.

Congratulations again to you both, and thanks for a great afternoon - we can't wait for your wedding next year!

A morning with the H family! {Buckhorn Family Photographer}

I met the H family at their cottage in Buckhorn - the entire family had gathered and they wanted to update family photos.  This group was a lot of fun!

Their two littles were adorable!

This guy is only 3 months old!

I try to start out a session with some tips for posing in order to make people comfortable, and this day was no different.  I had just finished saying that gaps are very noticeable in photos, so it is important to cuddle up, even if it feels a bit over the top.  I was quickly changing lenses when these guys called out that they were ready.  No gaps?  NAILED IT.

Great grandparents and the littles - love it!

To all the members of the H family - thanks for inviting me to spend a little time with your fabulous group!
